Financial Accountant - Cape Town

Financial Accountant – Cape Town

SIAAC Group is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Accountant to join our Cape Town team. This on-site role reports directly to the CFO and combines financial accounting and management accounting responsibilities within a fast-paced manufacturing, distribution, and renewable energy supply chain environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, strengthening financial controls, supporting reporting processes, and assisting with management decision-making across several entities within the SIAAC Group.

Key Responsibilities

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for:

• Preparing and maintaining accurate monthly accounting records for several small entities
• Performing monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Managing intercompany sales and purchase transactions
• Ensuring correct financial treatment of manufacturing and distribution processes
• Overseeing financial management within the entities in scope
• Supporting month-end and year-end reporting
• Assisting with management reporting and financial analysis
• Supporting tax compliance and statutory reporting
• Helping to strengthen financial controls and improve internal finance processes

Qualifications & Skills

The ideal candidate should have:

• Bachelor of Commerce degree or equivalent finance qualification
• Minimum 3 years’ professional work experience
• Minimum 1 year experience in a distribution and/or manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of Sage, Acumatica and Microsoft Office tools
• Strong Excel proficiency
• Knowledge of South African tax laws
• Knowledge of French and/or Zambian tax legislation would be advantageous
• Fluency in English
• French language ability would be an added advantage
• Strong analytical ability and critical thinking skills

Procurement Manager - Cape Town

Position: Procurement Manager

Location: Cape Town, South Africa Department: Supply Chain & Procurement

Role Overview 

The Procurement Manager will lead sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, and demand planning across SIAAC’s solar and energy storage product portfolio. This role is critical to ensuring competitive pricing, optimal stock levels, strong supplier relationships, and improved gross margin performance. 

The successful candidate will work closely with sales, finance, and logistics teams to support business growth, working capital optimisation, and structured supply chain governance. 

Key Focus Areas 

  • Lead procurement of inverters, batteries, PV modules, mounting systems, BOS and electrical components 
  • Negotiate pricing, rebates, commercial terms and international supply agreements 
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships locally and internationally 
  • Forecast demand based on sales pipeline, historical data and market trends 
  • Maintain optimal stock levels while preventing overstock and shortages 
  • Track landed costs, margins and currency exposure 
  • Monitor global pricing trends and supply chain risks

Logistics & Planning Coordinator - Cape Town

Position: Logistics and Planning Coordinator

  

Overview: 

The Logistics & Project Planning Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the complete logistics lifecycle — from procurement handover through regional distribution and on-site delivery. This role ensures that equipment sourced moves efficiently and cost-effectively to the different regions in South Africa, Namibia, Zambia, and Botswana. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor all inbound and outbound logistics activities. 
  • Manage shipment tracking, customs documentation, and delivery scheduling with freight forwarders and regional partners. 
  • Create project-specific logistics plans aligned with engineering and procurement timelines. 
  • Coordinate warehousing, local dispatch, and on-site delivery to installers or EPC teams. 
  • Liaise with branch managers to forecast stock and shipping needs. 
  • Maintain accurate stock movement records and assist in reconciling inventory with finance and procurement teams. 
  • Identify and mitigate logistics risks (port delays, forex fluctuations, route constraints). 
  • Optimize delivery routes, transport modes, and container utilization.

We’re looking for a capable and proactive Digital Marketing Coordinator to support our ongoing campaigns and platforms. You’ll work alongside the Head of Marketing (who leads strategy) and our Social Media & Content Creator (who executes visuals and posts) to ensure our digital channels are well-maintained, up to date, and effective. 

This is a hands-on, implementation-focused role that spans website updates, email campaigns, paid media coordination, and day-to-day digital support.

Electrical Sales Representative  

Location: South Africa (JHB / KZN / CPT – Regional travel required)

Role Overview 

To develop and grow B2B sales of low-voltage switchgear products through SIAAC Group’s distribution channel. The role is strictly channel-focused, supplying wholesalers, panel builders, OEMs, EPCs, and system integrators, while expanding SIAAC’s presence in the LV switchgear market. 

Key Focus Areas 

  • Develop and execute territory-based sales strategy for LV switchgear 
  • Drive sales growth through approved B2B channels (wholesalers, panel builders, OEMs, EPCs, system integrators) 
  • Identify, onboard and grow new channel partners 
  • Manage pipeline and achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs

You will work directly with EPCs, installers, and channel partners to ensure projects are designed, implemented, and supported to the highest standard. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of residential, commercial, and industrial energy systems, and thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Deliver pre-sales and post-sales technical support to clients and internal stakeholders 
  • Support with system sizing, product selection, and performance optimisation 
  • Review and advise on site-specific system designs including inverter, battery, and component configuration 
  • Conduct remote and on-site technical assessments, troubleshooting, and commissioning support 
  • Assist with training sessions, product demos, and webinars for both clients and internal teams 
  • Maintain accurate records of technical queries, resolutions, and client interactions

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing customer accounts across the renewable energy sector, while driving sales of SIAAC’s solar PV, energy storage, mounting, switchgear, and electrical product portfolio.

You will work closely with EPCs, installers, developers, electrical contractors, and channel partners to support project success, strengthen long-term partnerships, and identify new commercial opportunities within your region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow sales within assigned accounts and territories
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with EPCs, installers, developers, and channel partners
  • Identify and onboard new business opportunities and strategic accounts
  • Manage quotations, follow-ups, and customer sales pipeline activity
  • Promote SIAAC product categories including solar PV, energy storage, mounting systems, switchgear, and accessories
  • Coordinate with internal technical, procurement, logistics, and finance teams
