Head of Sales Strategy - CPT

Job Title: Head of Sales Strategy & Performance

Overview 

Siaac Group is looking for a dynamic and analytical Head of Sales Strategy & Performance to work closely with the CEO in driving sales growth, operational insight, and strategic excellence across all Siaac business entities. This pivotal role will be responsible for monitoring performance, identifying sales opportunities, and guiding strategic planning to accelerate business results. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Sales Performance Oversight 

  • Analyse and track weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales data across all regions and entities. 
  • Develop dashboards, KPI reports, and performance reviews for executive leadership. 
  • Identify sales gaps, underperforming segments, and market shifts to enable course correction. 

Sales Strategy Development 

  • Collaborate with regional and national sales managers to develop and refine go-to-market strategies. 
  • Drive the rollout of sales enablement tools, pricing strategies, and incentive models. 
  • Support new product category launches with tailored sales plans per region. 

Market & Competitive Intelligence 

  • Conduct regular competitor analysis and benchmark Siaac’s performance in key categories. 
  • Stay ahead of market trends in C&I solar, battery storage, electrical components, and other verticals. 
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on customer, market, and sales data. 

Customer Satisfaction & Retention 

  • Monitor and improve customer satisfaction metrics through sales service feedback. 
  • Collaborate with operations and support teams to ensure seamless customer journeys. 
  • Develop retention strategies to maintain and grow long-term client relationships. 

Executive Support 

  • Work hand-in-hand with the CEO on special projects, revenue planning, and business expansion strategies. 
  • Assist with investor and board reporting as needed. 
  • Prepare strategic presentations and business case models for leadership decisions. 

 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or related field (MBA preferred). 
  • Minimum of 5–7 years in a similar sales strategy, commercial analytics, or business performance role. 
  • Experience in the renewable energy or technology sector is highly advantageous. 
  • Advanced Excel and data visualisation tool proficiency (Power BI, Tableau, or similar). 
  • Demonstrated experience in using data to drive strategy and improve sales team output.

Regional Manager - South Africa

Job Title: Regional Branch Manager

Overview 

Siaac Group is seeking a results-oriented and experienced Regional Branch Manager to lead the branch operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in solar industry sales, team leadership, and operational management. This role demands a hands-on leader capable of driving branch performance, building strong client relationships, and ensuring that regional sales targets are consistently met or exceeded. 

Key Responsibilities 

Sales & Business Development 

  • Lead the regional sales strategy, overseeing key accounts and identifying new business opportunities. 
  • Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets are achieved. 
  • Represent the full Siaac product portfolio, including solar panels, inverters, battery storage, and electrical components. 

Team Management 

  • Supervise and develop the regional sales and operations team. 
  • Set performance objectives, conduct reviews, and support professional development. 
  • Foster a high-performance, customer-centric culture in the branch. 

Branch Operations 

  • Oversee daily operations of the Johannesburg branch, ensuring smooth logistics, stock control, and service delivery. 
  • Ensure adherence to company SOPs, compliance policies, and health and safety regulations. 
  • Monitor branch financials including budget management, forecasting, and expense control. 

Client Relations & Market Presence 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with EPCs, installers, consultants, and developers. 
  • Participate in industry events, client meetings, and roadshows to grow the Siaac footprint in the region. 
  • Report on competitor activity and market trends relevant to the Johannesburg region. 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • 5+ years in a sales or branch management role within the solar or renewable energy sector. 
  • Solid understanding of PV systems, inverters, storage, and balance-of-system components. 
  • Previous experience managing a regional team and branch operations. 
  • Strong client-facing communication and negotiation skills. 
  • Proficient in CRM systems, sales reporting, and Excel.

Technical Support Engineer - JHB

Job Title: Technical Support Engineer  
Location: Johannesburg, South Africa 
Type: Full-Time 
Reports to: Technical Manager 

About the Role 

SIAAC is seeking a technically strong and solutions-oriented Technical Support Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you will be the technical backbone for our clients and sales teams, providing reliable support across the full range of solar PV and energy storage systems. 

You will work directly with EPCs, installers, and channel partners to ensure projects are designed, implemented, and supported to the highest standard. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of residential, commercial, and industrial energy systems, and thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Deliver pre-sales and post-sales technical support to clients and internal stakeholders 
  • Support with system sizing, product selection, and performance optimisation 
  • Review and advise on site-specific system designs including inverter, battery, and component configuration 
  • Conduct remote and on-site technical assessments, troubleshooting, and commissioning support 
  • Assist with training sessions, product demos, and webinars for both clients and internal teams 
  • Maintain accurate records of technical queries, resolutions, and client interactions 
  • Collaborate with logistics, sales, and brand managers to ensure a seamless project journey 
  • Provide input on new technologies, market feedback, and product suitability 

 

Required Skills & Experience 

  • National Diploma or BTech in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field 
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical solar PV or electrical engineering role 
  • Hands-on experience with inverters, batteries, mounting systems, and DB boards

You’ll work with real-world data across sales, logistics, and technical operations to support smarter decision-making. 

This internship is ideal for recent graduates or final-year students with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for clean energy, business intelligence, or sustainability. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organising data from multiple internal sources 
  • Support the creation of dashboards, reports, and visualisations to track performance metrics 
  • Conduct basic trend analysis and data modelling under guidance of senior team members 
  • Identify anomalies or patterns in operational data to support process improvements

SIAAC is offering a structured 6-month internship for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern based in our Cape Town office. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or final-year student who wants to build hands-on experience in the finance function of a high-growth renewable energy company. 

You will support core finance operations, contribute to reporting and analysis, and gain exposure to commercial and operational finance under direct mentorship from the Managing Director. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Assist with daily financial reconciliations and processing of transactions 
  • Support with accounts payable and receivable tracking 
  • Help prepare monthly management accounts, reports, and forecasts 
  • Maintain and organise financial documents, spreadsheets, and internal files 
  • Work with finance tools (Excel, accounting software, and Sage Intacct) 
  • Support auditing, compliance, and data clean-up tasks as required 
  • Participate in budget reviews and financial performance meetings 

 

Requirements

SIAAC is seeking a driven and organised Logistics Intern to support our Cape Town operations team. This 6-month internship is perfect for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in supply chain, logistics coordination, and order planning within the fast-paced solar industry. 

As a Logistics Intern, you’ll work closely with the Head of Operations to streamline deliveries, manage inventory data, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics network. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Assist with daily order planning and dispatch coordination 
  • Track and update delivery schedules, stock movements, and documentation 
  • Support with inventory accuracy, reconciliation, and warehouse coordination 
  • Liaise with freight providers and warehouse teams for real-time updates 
  • Update internal systems with accurate logistics and order data 
  • Assist in identifying process improvements to support timely fulfilment 
  • Prepare logistics reports and contribute to weekly operations reviews 

 

Requirements
